This was an interesting solargraph experiment in the Pinsta
I took a 3 minutes exposure on Ilford Grade 2 Fibre Paper (about 2/3 the metered exposure to keep some tone in the sky), developed in Champion Suprol (1+9 3 mins), then stopped the development with an acid stop and rinsed... But didn't fix the image. I put it back on the tripod in the exact same place and left it for 3 hours to catch the sun trail in the sky.
Needs a bit of tweaking but almost exactly what I hoped for from the experiment that's been in my head for years! The idea was to get a well exposed and defined foreground with a solargraph trail as well. Mission accomplished!
It's fun to get sharp shadows in a Solargraph.
Of course... the first exposure could be anything - it's not limited to being the same scene!
Hi Dave, did you end up fixing it after the second exposure to get the sun trail? Thanks! Jen
You beat me to it Dave I had that in mind to do also looks like it has legs
