Yes it's usually a very high contrast paper, like Dave has mentioned it may be a chemistry thing! Perhaps increasing dev time could help too?

Yes you can get syringe caps. Alternatively you could bottle your chemistry and fill up when you need. Always remember to carry a dump bottle for spent chems!

You can either do like Dave says with the screen. Or if you get a 1000 lumen LED torch you can position it over the diffuser spot for around 10 seconds and that will do the trick too. It's best used if there is a lot of contrast/lighting variation in the shot. If not you can shoot without re flashing or pre flash for less time.

Awesome results Paul. You'll get the hang of the exposure times. You'll get 4 shots usually out of a set of syringes, five or six maybe if you do a little top up on the developer as you lose some on each shot.

Hiya, it's best left in as it will help to divert unwanted light from reflecting off the camera sides and onto your paper (the effect of this is virtually nothing anyway but why not leave it in!).

Hiya Paul, if you overflash you'll get low contrast and over exposure. The DP can be used without flashing and you get a really nice high contrast image but you have to think about the composure of the shot a bit more. If you get it right it really pings though! I think it's closer to a 24mm. It's about 85 degrees FOV I think.

Hiya, you extract the chemistry with the syringe and re-use for 4-5 prints (it's quite efficient) then you must dispense the spent chemistry into a dump bottle for storage until you can dispose of it safely. Most refure sites have hazardous chemicals dump or you can extract the silver at home.
